Subject: Invitation to Perform – 2026 Oslo Queens Konsertserie Spring
Dear Artist,
OsloLiveMusic and Mestizo (hereinafter referred to as “the Organization”) are pleased to invite you to participate in the 2026 Oslo Queens Konsertserie Spring, to be held at Queens Pub every Friday from 20:00 to 22:30, starting in March 2026 and concluding in August 2026.
Each selected Artist will be scheduled for a performance slot of approximately forty (40) minutes on the Queens Stage, we encourage them to bring their original material.
Financial Support
The Organization will apply for financial support per group from Oslo Musikkråd. The amount of support granted is determined solely by Oslo Musikkråd and may vary. Any approved funds will be transferred directly to the Artist’s designated bank account.
While the Organization cannot guarantee the amount awarded, based on prior experience the grant typically ranges between NOK 5,000 and NOK 12,000 per musician, with an average award of approximately NOK 6,000.
A decision from Oslo Musikkråd is expected within three (3) to six (6) weeks from the date the application is submitted. The Organization shall submit the application no later than January 15, 2026.
Technical, Logistical, and Promotional Support
The Organization will:
- Provide a qualified sound technician
- Supply all necessary technical equipment required for the performance
- Be responsible for all logistical arrangements, marketing and promotional activities related to the event, including the interaction with TONO.
- Produce a high-quality video recording of each performance, including professional audio and video, which will be published on the Organization’s social media platforms for promotional purposes.
- Report the event to the authorities.
Administrative Fee
Each participating Artist is required to pay an administrative fee of NOK 3,000 to the Organization after their event, but the artist will receive the support from Oslo Musikkråd on their individual Bank Account. This fee covers all administrative costs associated with the Artist’s participation in the concert series.
